Environmental issues and sustainability are key concerns for Finlog. Our aim is to supply a quality and affordable product whilst keeping low impact status on the environment. Timber is a huge natural source in Finland where our quality timber is sourced from and nobody does timber better than the Finns. More trees are planted than are felled thus maintaining stocks and ensuring sustainability for generations to come. Growing trees also soak up CO2 and give out oxygen helping to create a healthier world.

Minimal waste is created in the manufacture of our logs, if its not machined into log form it can be used for other timber products or manufacture of wood pellets to create a green energy source. Research by the wood industry has proved that by substituting concrete/cement or brick for wood can reduce the amount of CO2 produced by 1 tonne for every cubic metre manufactured.
