Maintenance free decking
Finlog North now supply and fit maintenance free wood effect decking products. We liked this product so much when we fit it to some of our log cabin builds we decided to become dealers for supply and fit to discerning customers wanting the freedom of low maintenance and safety that Millboard deck provides.

School log cabin
We have now completed the new sports pavilion for a local school complete with ramp access and decking. The striking colour has been well recieved and hopefully the other contractors will be able to complete their work shortly so that the school can make full use of the facility in the summer months. Finlog North would like to thank everyone who was involved in this log cabin and we hope the local community enjoy the use of it as much as we liked building it for them.

Log Cabin Sports Pavilion
Finlog North have now completed work on the sports pavilion for Rosley School.
Starting with the glulam timber frame and adjustable plinths onto a stone base.

Log sports pavilion
Finlog North are pleased to announce we have been commissioned to supply and fit a new sports pavilion for Rosley school in Cumbria. This build will start shortly and be complete ready for Spring/Summer use.

Hot tub cabin
Luxury hot tub building with bespoke wood fired sauna, shower, bar area and covered deck area. We are using non slip composite decking for safety and low maintenance. Leading up to the building we have installed rustic composite decking which will be lit with LED lights. This cabin will be a superb facility for all the family and friends whatever the weather, in the summer months the 4m wide bi fold doors can be fully opened for an outdoor feel. Finlog individually design each leisure cabin to fit the customers property and requirements.

New Log Cabin Tea Room Goats On The Roof
Finlog are pleased to announce the new tea room near Rothbury is now open for business. Goats On The Roof near Fontburn Reservoir. The opening night was well attended and the Bagot goats seem to like being on the roof!! Good luck to Nina and Darren. The location is stunning and food was excellent, well worth a visit.

Bespoke log cabin
Here is the latest progress update for the log cabin tea room in Northumberland, as you can see the ply board roof deck is now on and ready for the seedum roof to be fitted.  The weather has been a bit colder and wet this week and but getting the roof on is a large step forward to enable all the internals to be done under cover. We should be finished in about 3 weeks hopefully if all goes to plan with no further hold ups.

Log cabin tea room roof beams
We are now constructing the roof structure of the tea room at Fontburn Reservoir, lifting the large gluelam beams was a challenge but they are now in place and work can begin on the rafters.

 The build of the log tea room is well under way and all the large laminated logs are in place with the internal insulation wall ready to take the gluelam beam roof. Lots of interest has been shown by the fisherman and walkers around the picturesque reservoir nearby.

Log cabin tea room in Northumberland
Finlog North are starting the build of an exciting new project on the 10th May 2010 in Northumberland. A large tea room facility beside Fontburn Reservoir commissioned by Fontburn Rare Breeds Farm. The log cabin will be built from 115mm laminated logs with high spec insulation and a living roof ,a large deck area will wrap around the cabin overlooking the reservoir.

Log cabins in Wiltshire
We are nearly finished building the mobile log homes in Wiltshire, the client seems very pleased with the buildings and is looking forward to getting them kitted out for renting. Finlog has been recieving a lot of enquiries recently for log homes and in particular log mobile homes for various uses. Next job for us is log classrooms near Aberdeen on a site where we have already built three log buildings.

Snow
We have had a nice white christmas but now we need to get on with building cabins again! We are building four log homes in Wiltshire and the weather is making things very difficult but the thaw looks like its on the way and we can get back to building the four mobile log homes next week
